I am amusing myself by imagining this as Dean’s o-face.
(i mean his head’s tilted back at just the right angle and there’s something about the way his lips just fall open)
“I was in preschool and a girl actually kissed me on the cheek. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know what it meant, so I instantly grabbed her face and kissed her on the lips. And, then I got suspended.”
Happy Birthday Joanne Rowling!
Why do I talk about the benefits of failure?
Simply because failure meant a stripping away of the inessential.
I stopped pretending to myself that I was anything other than what I was, and began to direct all my energy into finishing the only work that mattered to me.
